On short after-work rides, or long weekend trips, the uvex race 7 road cycling helmet fits so comfortably you almost forget you’re wearing it. To achieve its low weight – just 240 g – it has the 2k IAS fit system, which allows the helmet to be effortlessly adjusted, in height and width, to fit your head. Thanks to 25 vents, optimal ventilation is guaranteed, even on the hottest days. The liner is a single, embossed pad, which dries fast. As well as comfort, safety is, of course, also crucial. This double inmould helmet, in a classic race design, has rollover bar technology built-in. In an impact, pressure is distributed evenly over the entire helmet shell, so the form of the helmet remains largely stable.

TECHNOLOGIES

DOUBLE INMOULD SHELL - Protective EPS material is foamed directly into the polycarbonate shell and fitted with a second Polycarbonate shell. This technology allows to create a lightweight helmet with highest impact resistance. Second Polycarbonate layer gives extra protection to the outer edge from damage. EPS is a material, which contains microscopic air chambers. They effectively absorb the impact forces created in a fall.

VENT PADS – Interior features significantly affect a helmet’s comfort. The Vent Pads consists of high quality moisture wicking material with embossed ventilation channels. They are comfortable and soft on the skin, dry quickly, are removable and washable.

MONOMATIC - Multi-stage and anatomically shaped UVEX’s monomatic comfort closure opens and closes at the touch of a button, with just one hand. The chin strap always sits perfectly.

FAS STRAPS - Fast Adapting System webbing can be easily and continuously tailored to your exact head shape. The helmet stays securely on the head in all situations and the webbing straps are always in the best position. Y-divider provides individual adjustment options – and a secure, comfortable fit. IAS - The UVEX IAS adjustment system allows accurate, individual adjustment of the helmet to the head circumference just with one hand.

2k IAS – Having the same head circumference does not necessarily guarantee that a helmet can provide maximum safety and comfort. Advanced fit systems provide the perfect adjustment, in every direction, to match every individual head shape. This technology allows height and width adjustment and is extremely light. Moreover, it features easy-grip adjustment wheel with soft components.

Please measure your head circumference to get the right helmet size. Recommended to measure with a measuring tape or a rope about 1.5cm above the ears.
